StorySnorts began as a collaboration between father-daughter duo Ian and Jemma Boyd. As a middle-grade author with a background in children’s entertainment (Kangaroo Creek Gang, Author speaking engagements), Ian was looking for something new - a live show for kids that delivers as much fun and creativity as it does education.
Coming from an improv/production background, Jemma had witnessed the magic of improv for children after living abroad in Chicago, arguably the birthplace of the art form. After returning home, Jemma realised there needed to be a platform for kids to enjoy and participate in this vitally under-explored area.
From there - StorySnorts was born!

Our troupe have experience in performing and educating across all age ranges, with a passion for group storytelling. All of our members are qualified and certified to work with children and schools.
