What performance area does the show require?The minimum stage space required is 7m wide x 3.5m deep x 2.4 m high.

What are the show’s technical requirements?Access to power for an electronic keyboard.

How much do workshops cost?1 x 60 minute workshop with 1 x coordinator = $300 2 x 60 minute workshops with 1 x coordinator = $500 3 x 60 minute workshops with 1 x coordinator = $675 These prices assume that multiple workshops occur in one day. Please note: We are not currently GST registered but anticipate becoming so during 2024. Beyond that date, we will absorb the GST into these prices. Travel expenses would be calculated on application for regional schools. For all other fee information, please refer to our T&C’s

What happens if we need to cancel or postpone a performance/workshop?Please refer to our T&C’s.

Do the performers have Working With Children certificates?Yes, all StorySnorts performers have WWC certificates which can be provided upon request.

Can we have access to a risk assessment?Yes, a risk assessment can be provided upon request.

Is your company covered for public liability insurance?Yes, StorySnorts will be covered for public liability insurance in 2024, and a certificate of currency will be available upon request.

What year levels is the show best suited for?Year levels 2-6. Younger audience members are always welcome if the school chooses to include them.

How many students can attend a workshop?We can cater for anywhere from 5 to 30 students with different styles of improvisation workshops. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your preferences. We also cater for special needs classes.

How much will it cost for StorySnorts to perform at our school?We have a minimum booking fee of $1200 100-220 students at $12/head 220-330 students at $11/head 330+ students at $10/head These prices assume that multiple performances occur in one day. Please note: We are not currently GST registered but anticipate becoming so during 2024. Beyond that date, we will absorb the GST into these prices. Can the show and workshops include Key Learning Areas upon request?Where possible, we are happy to discuss the inclusion of specific themes and curriculum areas for a show, provided we are given adequate notice and relevant information.

Is there a worksheet we can use for a class exercise after the show/workshop?Yes. We will have a worksheet available in 2024.

What are the minimum and maximum audience sizes?We have a minimum audience size of 100 students. We are happy to perform for lower numbers provided the school can cover the difference of the minimum appearance fee. For the best audience experience, we recommend that numbers exceeding 220 students be divided into 2 shows.
